I am the founder of Girls Mechanic Team, an initiative dedicated to educating women on the basIcs of
car maintenance and much more. I’m also an automotive presenter and content creator.
WHERE WERE YOU BORN :
I was born in Jordan and lived there until I was about 12 years old.
Then, my family moved to Canada, where I spent 13 years.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE :
I moved to Dubai in November 2022.
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 3 WORDS :
Kind, driven and adventurous.
WHEN DID YOUR LOVE OF AUTOMOTIVES START :
It started when I got my own car and began experiencing issues with it. Over time, I learned how to fix small things
from my mechanic, which sparked my interest. This was around 2018.
IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE ONE CAR TO DRIVE PERMANENTLY WHICH WOULD IT BE :
Honestly, it’s impossible to choose just one! I need an SUV, a fast car, and a classic.
ELECTRIC OR GASOLINE :
I’d go for a hybrid, it’s the perfect balance. You save on fuel while still getting performance and that
beautiful engine sound.
CHOOSE AN F1 PILOT DEAD OR ALIVE TO SPEND THE DAY WITH :
Ayrton Senna for his wisdom and Lewis Hamilton for his modern insights.
WHAT IS THE BEST VEHICLE YOU HAVE DRIVEN :
The Ferrari 296 GTB—830HP on the track! It was absolutely insane, both in terms of performance and design.
WHAT IS THE WORST CAR YOU HAVE DRIVEN :
Any car with a smaller than 2L engine.
WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST MEMORY :
You know, with moving countries and multiple stressful events my memory almost feels erased but I remember this because it helped me figure out what I love to do but when I was a kid maybe around the age of 8, I was playing with my male-friend who has these construction tools and I will never forget feeling jealous about not having these tools at home!
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE AS A KID :
I was very social and outgoing, didn’t like taking no for an answer, and always had plans for the weekend.
I even kept a diary to track my schedule, the costs of some trips I organized, and to-do lists!
WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED ITEM :
My memory box, it’s filled with items dating back to when I was 10 years old.
WHO WOULD PLAY YOU IN A MOVIE :
Mila Kunis! She has that perfect mix of being slightly tomboyish yet feminine, with great energy and humor.
IF YOU COULD CHOOSE A SUPERPOWER WHAT WOULD IT BE :
Seeing the future, probably because I’m impatient and to see the result of certain opportunities that come my way!
WHAT IS YOUR WORST TRAIT :
Impatience. It’s my biggest flaw but also my best quality because it pushes me to achieve my goals quickly.
WHAT KEEPS YOU AWAKE AT NIGHT :
My career, making sure I’m doing enough to succeed and create a real impact.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT :
I taught over 2000 women the basics of car maintenance through my initiative the ‘Girls Mechanic Team’.
DO YOU LISTEN TO PODCASTS :
Yes! I listen to a mix including The Joe Rogan Experience when I want to learn something, and Giggly Squad, Girls Gotta Eat, or Khloe Kardashian’s podcast when I just want to relax and laugh.
WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE :
Working on cars!

Phone off, at a beach destination with perfect weather, surrounded by greenery.

Simple, natural yet exotic.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR JOB :
Getting hands-on with vehicles, testing them, and creating/directing a creative approach of showcasing different cars through online content.
ARE THERE DAYS YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO TO WORK :
Not since I quit my job! I’ve chosen to do what I love, so every day feels exciting.

It’s still in the works, a handcrafted wooden sculpture of their favorite aircraft model.

Making a difference and empowering women through my work. I want to be remembered for that.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE TRAVEL DESTINATION :
Probably Europe. I haven’t traveled a lot, but I’d go anywhere with nature, a simple lifestyle, and a beach!
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE TRAVEL DESTINATION
Anywhere that is cold and has terrible traffic!
WHAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST :
Owning a Dodge Challenger, a Ferrari 296 GTB, or a Ferrari 512. Touring universities across the UAE to run my workshops. Implementing a stem program into schools and making it onto Forbes as one of the most influential women!

WHAT IS THE CLOSEST YOU HAVE COME TO DEATH :
It was in Canada driving, I was at a red light supposed to turn left and when my light turned green it took me a few seconds to start moving as I was putting my phone down after changing the song. In those few seconds, a car in the horizontal lane ran their red light at a high speed so if I had driven immediately with my light turned green, he would’ve T-boned my car and it would’ve hit exactly my door.
