Artist and content creator.
WHERE WERE YOU BORN :
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME AN ARTIST :
As I shared my work on social media, the positive engagement and viral response really motivated me to take art more seriously. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into something more meaningful, and I realized that it became a powerful way for me to express my emotions and explore human nature and life itself. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, and the connection I’ve built with my audience has inspired me to pursue art full time.
HOW IS THE ARTIST JOURNEY SO FAR :
The artistic journey has been an epic ride. A whirlwind of exploration and constant self- discovery.
WHO ARE YOUR THREE FAVOURITE ARTISTS :
Egon Schiele, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Ernst Ludwig Kirchner.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 3 WORDS :
Sensitive, Pensive and Passionate.
YOUR EARLIEST MEMORY :
My earliest memory is of sitting on the balcony at my grandmother’s house in the mountains. She put chili sauce on my pacifier, and I threw it outside, never using one again.
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE AS A KID :
As a kid, I was very imaginative, sensitive, and curious. I used to question a lot which helped me get in touch with myself and understand who I am at a very early age.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION :
My memory box.

Zubaida Tharwat.
IF YOU COULD CHOOSE A SUPERPOWER WHAT WOULD IT BE :
Shapeshifting would be a cool superpower because it gives you total control over your identity and form. You can become anyone or anything, and experience the world from entirely new perspectives.
WHAT IS YOUR WORST TRAIT :
My biggest flaw is indecisiveness. I often struggle to make decisions and tend to second-guess myself.
WHAT KEEPS YOU AWAKE AT NIGHT :
Countless thoughts keep me awake at night. Daydreams, spontaneous ideas that suddenly pop into my head, or even the anticipation for the next day can leave me agitated and restless.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT :
My greatest achievement is staying true to myself and my work while consistently striving to learn and evolve. I’ve trusted in my potential, never stopped creating, and continued to share my passion with the world. One of my proudest moments was launching my website, which has allowed me to sell my art internationally. This milestone has not only expanded my reach but also reinforced my belief in the impact of staying authentic in both my creative process and my business.
DO YOU LISTEN TO PODCASTS :
I’m not into podcasts. If I were to listen to one, it would mainly be because i’m interested in knowing more about the guest.
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE :
Watching a cringy movie.
WHAT’S THE CLOSEST YOU HAVE COME TO DEATH :
On August 4th, 2020, during the Beirut Port explosion, I was underground in Downtown Beirut, inside an elevator, when it partially exploded. I was trapped inside for over an hour. It was a very traumatic experience.

My perfect day starts with waking up feeling refreshed, followed by a cup of coffee and preparing a healthy breakfast. I make sure to incorporate some Pilates into my morning to get energized. After that, I dive into my creative work, whether it’s planning content for my art page or starting a new painting. The day always feels productive and meaningful when I’m immersed in my art. I end the day by spending quality time with loved ones, which brings everything full circle and leaves me feeling fulfilled.

Of course. Forcing myself to stand before my easel and paint merely for the sake of it means my work won’t emerge from a place of genuine inspiration or authentic emotion.

My favorite destination is Jeddah, the city where I was born and raised. It holds an irreplaceable place in my heart. It’s where I made my best childhood memories and met some of my closest friends.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE DESTINATION AND WHY :
I don’t have a specific least favorite destination, but anywhere that’s overcrowded is definitely not for me.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PAINTING YOU HAVE CREATED :
‘Bloody Tears’ has been my favorite painting for a long time. I often get asked about the meaning behind my work, and with this piece, I had a rare moment of clarity. I knew exactly what I was feeling and why I was creating. It was a raw, spontaneous reflection of my emotions, and that honesty is what makes it resonate with me so deeply.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST CHALLENGING PAINTING :
‘Bare’ was my most challenging painting. I created it live in front of 30 people during my first solo exhibition. The real challenge wasn’t the painting itself but the mental shift. I had to disconnect from the audience to stay in my creative flow. In the end, I found my rhythm, and the piece turned out exactly as I envisioned, if not better.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE BREAKING INTO THE ART WORLD :
Seeking inspiration is part of the process, but remember that art is an identity. Find what makes your work unique and let that define you. Trust your instincts, let your creativity flow naturally, and create from the rawest, most authentic place within you.
