Age three. My dad was driving on the highway with the window down, while deceptively knocking on the outside of the car’s roof and pretending some mysterious being was above us. He sold it pretty well even though he was smiling, but then again, I was only three.

Daydreamer.

Late start. 30.
IF YOU COULD SPEND THE DAY WITH ANY ARTIST WHO WOULD IT BE :
Probably Vincent Van Gogh. I’d want to meet him late into his life. I’d let him know I’m visiting from the future and then ask, Do you want to know how things turn out for your art?
IF YOU COULD SPEND A DAY ALONE IN ANY ART GALLERY WHICH WOULD YOU VISIT :
Mash Gallery in Los Angeles. Currently, I have a solo show there and it would be great to view the entire show alone. The lighting and ample size of the space is good to take in the work individually and collectively. It might be the last time I ever see some of the pieces again. if I was tempted to change anything within a piece, I would. Either Mash, or Martin Lawrence Gallery in Chicago for my April solo show.

The sun is shining. Mild weather. Breezy. Less than normal traffic on the roads. No hassles. Being well rested and well fed. Exercising. Conversations with loved ones. A super satisfying paint session. Top it off with some excellent news in relation to my work from one of my reps, an art advisor, or collector, or project collaborator. Yeah, perfect day.
