OCCUPATION :
Fashion Photographer.
WHERE WERE YOU BORN :
I was born and still live in Verona, Italy.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TAKING PHOTOS :
15 years.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST MEMORABLE SHOT :
My most memorable shot is definitely the portrait of Ruth, which was later published on Photo Vogue.
t was a special moment, not just because of the excitement of seeing my work on such a prestigious platform,
but also because of the bond I was able to create with Ruth during the shoot. Her expressiveness and the natural
way she allowed herself to be captured made that photo unique, capturing something authentic and intimate.
It was a meeting that marked a turning point in my career and my approach to photography.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST CHALLENGING SHOOT :
The most challenging shoot was for a handbag brand in Los Angeles. The main difficulties were related to managing natural light in outdoor locations with unpredictable weather, and the need to showcase the product details while maintaining the lifestyle mood required by the client. Coordinating the team, keeping the creative energy high throughout the day, and adhering to a very specific artistic direction were challenging but also extremely formative.
In the end, it was a job that helped me grow both technically and professionally.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AS A PHOTOGRAPHER IN 10 YEARS :
In 10 years, I see myself as a photographer with a more mature and personal vision, capable of telling meaningful
stories through conscious and deep images. I would like to have developed a recognizable style, shaped by
experiences, experimentation, and encounters.
I would love to work on long-term projects, possibly related to social, cultural, or environmental themes, traveling and collaborating with organizations that believe in the power of photography as a tool for change and memory.
WHAT PHOTOGRAPHERS INSPIRE YOU :
Photographers inspire me as visual storytellers: they manage to capture emotions, stories, and details that often go unnoticed in daily life. I am fascinated by their ability to freeze time in an image, giving voice to people, places, and moments through light, composition, and perspective.
Every photograph can become a window into an inner
world or a distant reality, and in this, photographers become true witnesses of the present and the past.
IF YOU COULD SPEND A DAY WITH ANY PHOTOGRAPHER, LIVING OR DEAD, WHO WOULD IT BE :
If I could spend a day with any photographer, living or dead, it would be with Helmut Newton.
His bold and provocative vision of photography, especially in the world of fashion and nudes,
has always fascinated me.
I would love to understand how he combined sensuality, power, and aesthetic perfection in his images.
Newton had a unique approach to capturing both the strength and vulnerability of his subjects, and spending time
with him would be an opportunity to explore his philosophy and the techniques behind his iconic shots.
YOUR CAMERA OF CHOICE :
Sony and Hasselblad.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT AI :
I think artificial intelligence is an incredible resource that can open up new possibilities in many fields,
from creativity to science, as well as automation and solving complex problems. In photography, for example,
AI can be used to optimize the editing process, enhance image quality, and even create original content,
like in image generation. However, I believe that the human element, the emotion, and the artistic vision of a photographer are irreplaceable.
AI can be a powerful tool, but the heart of creative work will always lie in the hands of those who can see
the world with unique eyes.
IF YOU COULD PHOTOGRAPH ANYONE, WHO WOULD IT BE :
If I could photograph anyone, I would choose to portray Dora Maar. Her fascinating figure, both as an artist and as Picasso’s muse, has a complex and intense story made up of art, passion, and inner struggles.
A portrait of her would be a unique opportunity to explore her personality through the lens, trying to capture
that mix of mystery and strength that characterized her life and her art. Meeting Dora Maar would be
an extraordinary opportunity to tell a piece of art history through the image.
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 3 WORDS:
Curious, creative, and determined.
WHAT IS YOUR FIRST MEMORY :
My first memory is when I was a child, watching my parents prepare a family dinner. There was a warm light coming through the window, and I was struck by the atmosphere of warmth and serenity.
Even though I don’t remember the exact details, that moment of tranquility and family connection is deeply
imprinted in my memory as a moment that left a lasting emotional mark.
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE AS A CHILD :
As a child, I was curious and always in motion, with a great desire to explore the world around me.
I liked to observe everything in detail and ask a thousand questions, always trying to understand how
things worked. I was also very creative, spending hours drawing or inventing stories. I liked being with others,
but I also had moments of solitude, where I would retreat into my thoughts and fantasies.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRECIOUS POSSESSION :
My daughters.
WHO WOULD PLAY YOU IN A MOVIE :
Audrey Tautou.
CHOOSE A SUPERPOWER :
I would choose the ability to teleport. I am fascinated by the idea of being anywhere in an instant, exploring the
world without limits of time and space, and connecting with people and places in the blink of an eye. Imagine the freedom to experience different things every day, without physical boundaries.
WHAT IS YOUR WORST CHARACTERISTIC :
My worst characteristic might be my tendency to be too much of a perfectionist. Sometimes I get caught up in
details and want everything to be exactly as I imagined, which can slow down the process and make me feel
frustrated. I’m working on improving this aspect, learning to let go and accept that sometimes imperfection
is part of the creative process.
WHAT KEEPS YOU UP AT NIGHT :
What keeps me up at night are often the ideas and thoughts I can’t fully focus on. Sometimes my mind keeps
wandering over projects, new photos to take, or even small daily worries. It’s as if the excitement of what I
want to do keeps me in a state of constant activation. However, I try to use these moments to reflect and find
solutions, turning insomnia into a creative opportunity.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS :
My greatest success is undoubtedly the recognition I’ve received for my work, like when one of my photos
was published on a prestigious platform like Photo Vogue, and worked with some renowned international
brands. It was a moment that confirmed that my dedication and passion for photography are yielding real results. However, beyond external recognition, my greatest success is being able to express through images what I
feel and create emotional connections with the people who view my work.
DO YOU LISTEN TO PODCASTS :
No.
WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE :
My guilty pleasure is admitting that, although I dream of traveling alone and discovering the world, I can’t seem
to take the first step. I often feel overwhelmed by the idea of facing everything alone, and this holds me back.
It’s almost as if the desire for adventure is bigger than my fear, but the fear continues to make me hesitate.
WHAT IS THE BEST THING YOU’VE EVER STOLEN :
I’ve never stolen anything.
WHAT WOULD YOUR PERFECT DAY LOOK LIKE :
My perfect day would be a combination of creativity and tranquility. I would start early in the morning,
taking a walk in a place that inspires calm, maybe in nature, to stimulate my mind. Then, I would dedicate myself
to a photographic project I’m passionate about, experimenting with new ideas without rushing, followed by lunch
with friends or loved ones, where we laugh and share stories. In the afternoon, some time to relax, read, or listen to music, before ending the day with a simple, delicious dinner, maybe outdoors, while the sun sets.
IF YOU COULD BE FRIENDS WITH A FANTASY CHARACTER, WHO WOULD IT BE :
If I could be friends with a fantasy character, I would choose Amélie Poulain from The Fabulous World of Amélie.
Her sweetness, unique view of the world, and her special way of taking care of others fascinate me.
I would love to spend a day with her, discovering little hidden secrets in the city and experiencing moments of pure everyday magic. Her ability to find beauty in the simplest details would definitely be an enriching experience
for my life.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB :
The best part of my job is definitely the ability to tell stories through images. Every shot is an opportunity to express emotions, capture unique moments, and connect with people. I love the idea that every photo can tell something different, that it can make people reflect, feel, or simply capture a fleeting moment. It’s a job that allows me to be
creative and always explore new worlds and perspectives.
ARE THERE DAYS WHEN YOU DON’T WANT TO GO TO WORK :
Absolutely not.

Message to an Eagle Who Thinks It’s a Chicken.

A trip to the Photography Rooms in Venice.
WHAT IS A PERSONAL MOTTO OR MESSAGE :
Trust the process.
